In this meetup, you'll learn about the best camera settings for nighttime photography. We'll also explore the kinds of light available to us and how to use that light to make some awesome photos. As always, there are exercises that will help you put your new knowledge to work.

I like the class and learn more and really put that into practice. What I would suggest, is another spot. I understand that Downtown may be the more convenience spot to meet. But us getting boring. The parliament is under construction, so that really does not give a good sight for capturing images.

The storm meets the sunset at Petrie Island in Orleans, Ontario. On May 7th, 2024, I was sitting at Petrie Island, patiently waiting for the sunset, when all of a sudden these big clouds came rolling in right on time to block half of it! At first, I was very disappointed, but then I realized I could get this amazing shot with a half dark and half bright sky, giving evil VS good vibes! Picture was taken with my Canon Rebel T7I!

This photograph is of the Spencerville Mill during the spring run off. It was taken at about 8:00pm. During the process of setting up for this shot, I bent over to adjust my tripod. As I bent over my reading glasses fell off and dropped into the river!! I was now essentially shooting blind as I could not access any of the settings or menus on my camera! My Olympus EM1X still has a ?Bulb? setting on the shutter speed dial. So I managed to get the camera set there and just did a series of long

The photo shows the stunning beauty of tulips in full bloom at the Tulip Festival in Ottawa. Bright colors like red, pink, yellow, and white fill the scene, creating a beautiful mix of hues. Each tulip stands tall with delicate petals, highlighted by the warm sunlight. The background features peaceful festival grounds, adding to the charm of the picture. Craig is believed to be the oldest living Big Tusker in Kenya, boasting the longest tusks in the country. At approximately 52 years old, he is a true giant of Amboseli National Park.I was with a group of photographers exploring Amboseli National Park in Kenya when our driver and guide informed us that Craig and his fellow Tusker, Mike, had ventured outside the park and were now in a nearby game prese

Title or Location: Photo was taken ar the Will Rogers tower in the cultural district of Fort Worth, TX.
I wanted to shoot the lunar eclipse but at the same time incorporate some quintessential Fort Worth icons into the image for context. I knew I would need to use a very long telephoto to get a large moon but in doing so knew that the rest of the image would need to be some distance from me due to the tunnel vision of the telephoto. I used Photopills and The Photographer?s Ephemeris to plan the shot which was taken with Fuji X system mirrorless equipment.

Using light and shade to capture the beauty in the harshness of urban industrial architecture. Rekindling a love of black and white photography, I took this photograph whilst on a Brighton Photography Group 'Urban Architecture in Black & White Photography' study event led by Tobias Slater-Hunt. Having spent a winter of dark clouds, rain and dull skies, it was an opportunity to make the most of the year's new beautiful March sunshine.
